excellent review of both phones.
I have the HTC HD2 and the Evo is a slightly faster version of that with an HDMI output I believe. Having had the iPhone 3Gs before that, I am now quite a fan of HTC. I kinda wish I’d held off a few months for the Evo but it’s Android OS and can’t play PS1 games like my phone.
Also, Apple=/= Cool

Got my android powered nexus one and it’s fantastic. Should be getting another software update any date now: “FROYO” which brings with it full flash support, tethering and a good few new updates to keep the phone fresh.
Oh, and i can hold my N1 any way i like without it disrupting the signal!! 😉

All wrong, you need to be looking at the Samsung Galaxy S (The pro version is out soon also which has a slide out keyboard)
anyhoos its THE most powerful phone on the market to date, unfortunatly you can only get it on Vodaphone

p.s. the Evo isnt being released in the UK is it? Well it wasnt unless somethings changed.. and I’ve heard about Droid X, which appears to be a rival to the Evo.. Made by motorola I believe, its getting people excited, the name alone is sexy

Unfortunatly the iPhone doesn’t rock, Apple didn’t release the rock application and since you can only use the iPhone how apple tells you, you are shit out of luck. You shouldn’t have to invalidate a warrenty (jailbreak) to get a phone how you like it, it’s absurd.
Also, I like that you can’t hold the iPhone 4G is a certain way or you lose signal, genius.
Never tried the droid OS, looks pretty good and I guess I’ll give it a try, I’ve had 4 win mobile phones in my time and I have enjoyed them all. They are prone to bugs and crashing and complicated to get working, but I don’t mind that as it lets me do exactly what I want.
The new Windows Mobile 7 looks crap though, I may switch as winmo 6.5 will no longer be supported soon.
