I’ve not seen much of it. I have very fond memories of GT1 and 2 on the PS1 but I’ve not played any more recent. I’ve no doubt it looks fucking awesome though, I hear there’s over 1000 cars available to choose from.
Got it the day it come out, and not played anything since i had it. Its fucking awesome.
I traded in 4 or 5 games at gamestation got gt5 and the gt steering wheel (wheel was 2nd hand but never touched from the looks of it) and only paid £10.45.
Bargin.Veyron was a HUGE let down tho. What a complete and utter pos that car is. Slightest bit of power when turning and it goes straight on.
At first i was a little disappointed at how slow it seems to progress but after a while i appreciate it more. I remember doing semi hard races not very far in on gt4 and getting super awesome race cars. Not like that here, i am lvl 23 and b spec is 18 and i have only had a 6 year old gtr and the gt40 mark2 test car. No proper race cars yet.
Licences were easy to get at least a bronze on and the specials races are good. (bar the top gear test race what a complete and utter pos that 2nd challenge is 🙄 )
Online side is the only thing that lets it down for me. Lag is fine there is non of that, its just seems a bit wishy washy atm. Hopefully they will come up with a better ui and more refined classes /restrictions in the future.
