Nah, this can’t be right. As if Dice would rip off features off the 5 year old Planetside and bolt them onto their game and basically re-release as being a new one in the Battlefield series.
I refuse to believe they’d do that.

Well this is doing the rounds everywhere at the moment but I am extremely sceptical about it’s validity. If this transpires to be true then the Battlefield Franchise will die on it ass.
i hope its all bullshit to be honest….nothings been confirmed by EA/Dice so until such time i shall treat it as just a rumour……….
i’m still hoping for BF3 to be set in WW2…….think if i say it enough it’l come true ?

It’s so ‘high level’ it’s not worth taking any notice of. There’s clearly been no design or anything, thats where the cool stuff will come from. If it is genuine, the modern day setting doesn’t really surprise me but I have to admit I’d have prefered WW2 tbh.

It’s gotta be back to WW1 or WW2, it went all the way from ww2 to modern day to future already, so it’s gotta go back to the beginning !
