    Just to let all the ratties know, progress is being made but am hitting a small hurdle with the support monkeys at the new ISP.

    I don’t think they let anybody with an IQ above 85 in. Bloody support monkeys, if only they could think instead of reading from a check list.

    Provider is a tad… lacking, number of db user connections is way too low and db response times are severely shite.

    It’s our Website host we are Changing, not our Gaming server provider. The Webhost was Pants and we’ve been wanting out from them for ages.

    Nice one Frag for letting us know whats happening, and cheers to the peeps at XDC for letting us invade your Forums. 😉

    the old one was pants, and its sounding like the new one is just as pants but a bit closer to home and 4 times less per year 🙁

    frag could the slave db be setup using my streamline db to offload some of it?

    really fekked off now, i should have tested vb on streamline using my account 1st

    Gonz bud, I don’t know what streamline will be like yet for DB response/loading as I can’t get the forum backup restored ‘cos once SSHed into the account I can’t get mysql to import the backup file, there’s a permissions problem that the help desk spanners can’t get their head round.

    Let’s get the site setup on streamline and see where we go.
