That was shit max. just a pile of random guesswork.
Now THIS is what i am looking forward to coming up against in BF3…
guessing it will be shit, but then again i am a miserable old fuck….ROHOS on teh other hand is shaping up good;)

nom, i’m with you mate. What can they do different to BF3 that they haven’t already done with BF2, BFBC2 ? Balance; improved gfx; destructable terrain mk3?
Didn’t they remove prone in one of the recent releases? i mean wtf? Ok, we know it’s not a sim but at least give the character full mobility. If it’s because you can’t solve the arms clipping through walls issue then hire better programmers!
They now see BF42 as a circus piece there only to be used as a filler but have somehow lost sight that it was BF42 that made this series what it is.

i can remember playing the 42 demo constantly when it came out, my wife bless her bought the retail game for xmas, on boxing day at about 5pm i loaded it onto my machine….next thing i know its 6am!!!!
no other game has been like that for me, although RO was close.
42 was just so much damn fun, so loved the sound/text of Max weeping as he went over one of my mines:)

just daftness but i can’t ever recall doing crazy shit like this on the other games with the exception of maybe vietnam.
jeep races on the El-Al map, wing walking and other mad stuff that i think we lost when the reward system came out and peeps were scared of losing points for tk’s………….damn nothing better than blowing up players as they waited patiently to wing walk or have a group pic taken!
Could’nt agree more……getting this franchise back to its roots is the only thing that might potentially sway me to getting my pc upgraded !!
its the pace of the game that was spot on…..you could take a few bullets and still win a one on one leaping around like a madman……all these new games are spawn die….spawn die…..i get shot in the new shooters and i have’nt got a clue who shot me….with what….or from where…..even with the cam on…..i hate them all

I got it but only on xbox m8……mind you that was quite a pitch you made for it right there…..i will rush out and spend £1200 upgradin me pc right now…..anything to see you rushing through the foxholes in a dress 😀
