Quants is not much to do with programming mate. Its all about number crunching to model future market movements and analysing trends etc. SERIOUS PROPELLOR HEAD/TREKKIE TERRITORY.
For example, one of the quants looks exactly like Beaker from the muppets

Well, there’s also Clarke Kent and the newly arrived Tom Hanks in the Quants area, so looking like someone/something famous will help here, not sure IT skills are required really

I hated Quants when I did my diploma – twas a real struggle and that was just the basics

Got my results today… a rather comfortable 67% (70% being a first)… so close but yet so far…!
Yaye me!
Also got a job where I surf the internet all day for £8/hour… not much compared to you lot, but it all goes in to my pocket – ie I will have a grand a month to spend… get in!

Not bad Turks. So what do you mean you have a job… is that you finished your degree? Thought you had another year or 2 to do? And what is this job exactly? Sounds intriguing.
