Those were both @ 30mph… the first before I even had a bike capable of anything twattish (124cc Single-Cyclinder – 12hp? lol), 2nd on the fazer (4 cylinder 95hp). That’s pretty much both of the main crashes besides mucho 30mph near misses by morons pulling out from side streets not looking and the asshat in a dump truck deciding to take a turn on my side of the road coming at me head on, whilst not indicating or even braking where I almost ploughed into the side of him… and to top it off it was on a bend too…

The answer will always be no, because they’re not even getting in the way, we’re on a completely parallel path with no chance of colliding unless either one changed course…. alas awareness and control prevent danger from actually happening. Danger on the roads is the absence of awareness and/or control, so really regardless of what speed you’re going at you can just as easily be safe or dangerous, so I really don’t see what everyones problem is. People in cars may go at 30mph, but many are MORE dangerous because they lack any real awareness whatsoever….

I’m sorry but I never suggested it always was – especially when travelling at speed. The simple fact is every crash I’ve had with other parties has been the other parties fault. Shit happens and 9/10 I’m on the receiving end of it. I’m a big enough man to admit when I’ve fucked up and yes it can, has and will happen again but I will not bullshit around it. If I see any point of danger I back off, it’s as simple as that. The fact is most of the time there is no danger and I’m still waiting for some lame ass retarded argument that says speed alone is dangerous, it’s not enough just to state it with no proof whatsoever. It isn’t the speed which is doing the killing, it’s the lack of awareness/concentration/control, so really for ffs stfu unless you’re going to back it up with some kind of miracle bs that I can swallow.
