im enjoying mw2 at the moment, its a shame more of you lot dont play. Briefly saw insane on today but never see anybody else. i Have to agree tho some of the tactics used in it are a bit shit and anoying… duel shotguns on scrapyard etc but i can over look that. no BF but fun all the same. its turned me into a stats whore though. level 40 prestige +1
a few tips for those that do play it..
The SCAR is the best gun. RED DOT – FMJ or ACOG – FMJ
the TAR and AK are also good
FAL is a good semi auto.
the 50 cal is the best sniper rifle, good with ACOG and awsome with the thermal
in normal games allways use stopping power and have 1 set up with cold blooded on if the enemy have loads of air support.
in hardcore allways use cold blooded, silenced weapons and ninja.
shotguns are wicked as backup
most importantly if your getting owned stop running round like a muppet and learn the maps.
I’ve had a few weeks to make my mind up about this now that I’ve bought the game and generally I agree with Fluffy’s sentiments. It’s difficult for me to be too critical as I’ve not had enough mulitplayer games yet, but that’s a criticism itself as it’s due to the game being very difficult to get into online. I want to play these games with people I know, and without the dickheads you get in random crowds of gaming nerds, and MW2 just makes this too difficult. I still haven’t found a way to easily join friends online, and this generally kills any desire I may have for a game. It’s ok if you’ve a group together and start a server together, but god help you if someone arrives late and wants to join. In this respect it’s actually worse than stepping back 10 years in terms of multiplayer gaming, and that’s ridiculous.
The single player game is very short but it is good, and the special ops coop mode is fun to play with a friend, and I feel like I’ve got about as much out of spec ops as I did from the single player (perhaps more). I’ve had the game I suppose nearly a month now, and while I don’t think I’ve got my money’s worth from it yet, I expect over time I will do. One thing I would say though is that it most definitely is not worth £40 on the PC, and I’m glad I got it cheaper from Tesco. It’s also no wonder EA are sounding so confident over BC2, as it will become the game to have on the PC, with MW2 offering little competition.
Its ok if you join game, mute all the tards and play, although the game mode would suit Madmax more as you tend to be a loan wolf, if you find your mates first, like my mates, we’ll party up then join to make sure get on the same team at least, then mute the cockmunchers
Its been shit past few days as its glitched to feck at the mo, but past couple of days/nights has been ok except for the overpowering akimbo shotty whores.. but better to be shot by them than the javsemtex glitch
Anyhoos, Its but a stop gap till BC2 but I’m getting into it more mow I’ve found my wep of choice

The single player ‘try before you buy’ version im slogging through has it’s moments, but my favorite part was the eye in the sky Drone fires missles down on little white targets. Maybe im getting to old for fps 😕
Shoot out’s in USA suburbia makes a plesant change but i havn’t seen any overwieght targe….ahem….civiliains on those levels, shame.

lol he did mention in game when he killed you 😉 The egg is one of my best mates, I knock about with them in the real world, hence the M28 (Postcode) bit at the beginning of my name. We kinda hunted you down between us, I think he enjoyed himself, as did I, was good to see you ingame mate, It’s been a while

Its not a glitch anymore as the recent patch sorted, it was that combined with the Javelin which people just armed and ran at you, if you shot/stabbed them, there would be a rather large explosion and many on the vacinity would be toast, happened with the stinger too i’m led to believe

I dont have the shotgun, assuming you mean the Pump action, not unlocked as yet, but that was a fave of mine on old COD4, I’d like the single 1889 or whatever it is, some git used that on a map the entire game the other day, f’in frustrating but at least he wasnt using the akimbo version like most!
Got 8 people last night with the Predator in one shot, was on a right role! San’tae dropped off lots of presents then on 🙂
Got my first emergency care drop the other day and almost creamed myself as I picked up a harrier strike, sentry gun, uav, and pred missile! 🙂 Anyone here got a nuke yet? I can’t get past 15 at the moment.
Cant say I have mate, I could have but I didnt have it unlocked at the time, and that was a one off so doubt it would happen again 🙂

i am at exactly that same point with the game, it irritates the shit outta me, but mainly its due to server issues. its becoming harder and harder to connect to a decent host and i end up getting pissed off with the laggy gameplay. if i ever meet anyone responsible for making this system for pc from IW i will probably end up spending time in prison. what a cock ridden, dumb fuck idea it was!!!
