    i WAS GOING TO POST A “THAT’S NO MOON” POST BEFORE BUT THOUGHT HE WAS REFERING TO sPUNKS PIC OF THE MOON. yEAH IT’S jUPITER WITH THE GREAT RED SPOT RAGING JUST SOUTH OF THE EQUATOR. dAMN CAPS LOCK IS ON AND i CAN’T BE ARSED TO REWRITE THE POST.

    and for the sake of perspective. That red spot is actually a storm thats been raging for over 400 years ( age of telescopes so it’s mst likely much older) the earth could fit inside that ongoing hurricane 3 times over.
    That huge beasty is most likely the reason we aint extinct yet as its gravitational mass is so huge it sucks up all the debris (ie comets) that could be heading to earth. Did I say all? naaaa theres always another comet coming the other way 😉
