Stop this! we have to All conceed that LeGit is in fact right and every one else is wrong therefore we should bow down to his wisdom and make him a God where his floored ethics are gospel and we shall proceed to be better drivers by driving faster in built up areas.
It makes so much sense LeGit we must all be so stupid! Gosh! it frightens me how stupid we must look to your lordhip!
Perhaps now after 20 years of carefull driving without a single crash (apart from some numpty that was going too fast and did’nt have enough stopping distance to brake went into the back of me but it´s ok as he must have been one of your angels) I can now proceed to put your divine wisdom into practice and perhaps show everyone some lovely pictures of my wrecks in the future …and of course blame it on everyone else

February 22, 2007 at 1:40 pm #45969XDC_WolfParticipantOn the way home today infact some retarded kid was going about 10mph on a main road on his pedal bike. You know what the dipshit did? He had cars coming behind him at 30mph, then without looking behind him (and about 10 metres away from a fucking crossing) pulls across to cross the road to go under my front wheel. I was doing 30mph But because I had awareness and control I could avoid him without giving the little asshat the mowing down he so surely deserves. He is isntantly more dangerous @ 10mph because he lacks awareness than I am at 100mph… don’t even attempt to deny it!!
And if you’d have been going faster, you would probably not had the time to avoid him, and you would probably had killed him had you hit him.
Case Closed.

February 22, 2007 at 3:03 pm #45971XDCsPUNKerParticipantHaving thought about it I concluded that this thread should remain open untill LeGit either realizes he’s really on the wrong track with his thinking (but bravo for trying even if you truly believe you have a point) or he finds anyone ..ANYONE who can back up his claim that he so adamantly tells us we are all ill advised of.

I agree with LeGit and I think the rest of you are ‘tards.

February 22, 2007 at 3:52 pm #45976sickofitallParticipantIs travelling at high speed more dangerous than travelling at the designated speed limits? That’s an interesting question. I’ve done some research and spoken to a few people and the results are that LeGit is actually correct and the great and good do think that travelling dead fast is the way to go.
Here’s what the stars had to say:
“Travelling fast never did me any harm,†stated Top Gear favourite Richard Hammond, “except for that time I went head first into a field at 200 mph and nearly got smeared all over the countryside of course.†He added.
“What did I and Freddie Mercury have in common?†asked race ace Ayrton Senna, “We both died with blood on our helmets!†quipped the ex champion and ex alive formula 1 ace.
“I hate mongrels in cars! I’m in full control of my bike and everyone else is stupid and needs to look in the mirror!†snapped the long dead meccano-legged stuntman.
“Can someone help me and fast!, I need a number 2 desperately!” roared Frank Williams when I asked him.February 22, 2007 at 4:24 pm #45977XDCOldPhartParticipantWeebles.
Today I got up and had my usual lengthy shit, swift shave and short shower (I considered having a wank but could not conjure up any suitable mental pics, probably a lack of coffee).
Then I put my underwear on, then my socks. Then my shirt. I had a brief struggle with my tie but got it right after a few choice words. Then I put my 3rd best suit trews on and went downstairs, lit my pipe and checked the XDC Webby. Saw this thread, again failed to bother to read it.
Then I went to work, had an interesting tube journey oogling (over my copy of the Torygraph) the inner thighs of the long legged wench who plunked herself down opposite me at Marble Arch. By the time she got off at Bank I had managed to spot er knickers briefly a couple of times and got a smile from her too. Bonus 8) .
I hopped off at Bank, lit me pipe, muttered about the fooking rain and got to the office. There I checked the XDC webbo again, and ignoredthis thread again.
I had lunch at Haz, served by a muppet frowm fucknosewhere who did not have a clue that Claret is Burgundy. But the lamb was good.
Back at work ……………………..
I will finnish this later, I have to do a bit of work. Then I am off to the opera. Tonight its Madame Butterfly and the Diva is a real dish, mmmmm.
I am sure you are all so interested in the exciting life that I lead, and I do so much love knowing that you are all agog to hear how many times I have pissed, shat and droooled over birds today.
Thanks for all your support
February 22, 2007 at 4:48 pm #45978XDCiNSANEParticipantFuck me I nearly believed your days gubbins till I read this..

Apparently its better for your pores to shower first, and then shave… hence 1) Shit 2) Shower 3) Shave …. I think the steam opens the wee blighters or something, creating less irritation when the deed is done.
Im not gay so I dont know the techie ness of it… perhaps Ryzo can fill you in.

Not really – I would have been well past him before he actually pulled across into my lane.
Hammond crashed because of a blowout, the speed only multiplied the effects of the fuckup, not cause it. Ayrton Senna never crashed because of speed, but it multiplied his injuries, infact I’ve said it over by now I would have thought it would have started to sink in!!
February 22, 2007 at 8:04 pm #45982XDCiNSANEParticipantHammond crashed because of a blowout
Good lord, Its just as well your bike has unblowoutable tyres int it Mr CantBeTouched!
Some light reading for ya..

And I quote…
# Ride at a speed that will enable you to slow down and stop in good time. The unexpected can happen. And ride according to the conditions: slow down if it’s wet, foggy or icy.
Experts say you are wrong
