i’m envious mate, would love to spend a couple of days doing that. I went to Snowdon a few years back with some friends and our other halves and had a great week doing different walks.

We spoke about going somewhere and doing the same (but leaving the women home) but as yet it hasn’t haappened!

    😀

yeah was really good but left us realising how unfit we are, making plans to do a similer thing over the helvellyn range from keswick to ambleside.

we were hoping to do the extended route through to coniston but ran out of time after delays on the top of mickledore on the first day, the wind was fucking scary making it really hard to push on along the ridge. made the most of the next day by bagging Scafell and the ridge to Great End before droping into langdale for a pint at The Old Dungeon Gill Hotel. 🙂

    well worth the effort
