    … they want to sell? Its for my little un, someone gave her a PC… which was nice! but he put Vista on it and it struggles!!The card in it now is an ATI rage pro 32mb, dont get me wrong im v grateful for it but i cant go back to him and say ‘thanks for the PC but that card and OS you used are dog dirt…upgrade me please!!!’.
    She uses it mainly for messing about on Wordpad (shes only 4) and watchin DVDs, its watchin DVDs thats the problem, in fact any video playback, it stutters and is dead jerky.
    Would a better card solve this? …or would just installin XP/98 help? MB is a K7S5A, 512mb ram, CPU is 1.5 Athlon.. i think, will check later but cant turn it on now to be sure coz Ellie is sleepin n PC makes a reet racket!
    Any advice on best/cheapest way forward? (still no job yet, so go easy on me wallett!)

    would certainly put XP on, but AGP is 2x or 4x only 🙁

    in fact if you want a motherboard/cpu/graphics card you can have ’em as well (ram included 2gig, but might be 4, can’t remember now)
