Battlefield 4 Obliteration is a new game mode introduced in BF4. Obliteration in Battlefield 4 is a destruction-focused game mode (hence the name) where players are tasked with destroying certain high-value targets placed around the map in order to win the match. The opposing team is tasked with defending those high-value targets. Obliteration is one of the new game modes in Battlefield 4, the other being Elimination and Defuse.

In Battlefield 4 Obliteration, both teams have a number of targets which have to be protected. A bomb randomly spawns on the map, and it’s up to players to quickly pick up the bomb and use it to destroy enemy targets. After a team carries out the bomb to a target and destroys it, the bomb will randomly spawn again on the map.

Battlefield 4 Obliteration tips

Since bombs spawn randomly on the map in Battlefield 4 Obliteration, it’s a good idea to spread the team around the map and be ready to intercept the bomb. It’s also important that one’s own targets are properly protected from the enemy. Use a variety of mines, such as Claymores and AT Mines to protect the area around the target, and additionally, the Recon and Support classes can plant C4 explosives next to the target as well.
