Just bought one of these beauties for 250 squid (with GPS gubbins and 2g memory.) Its like a little laptop in my pocket!

So far i would recommend it – pretty fast going through applications, the keyboard is great to use and 1.5MB/s mobile broadband available if I ever get to an area with HSDPA!
Ive not used the GPS on it yet – but its a nice screen for maps etc.
Anyone got recommendations as to progs I should load onto it?
what gps prog does it come with? cant go wrong with tomtom as it seems to be the only one with radar tracking
nice bit of kitIf it’s an XDA type variant it wont come with TOMTOM but you can still install TOMTOM on it and use the in built GPS.
Ive got Tom Tom on it – works as well as my dedicated sat nav just about!
Snell this island is a navigational nightmare – no one puts any numbers on their houses and a lot of the gaelic names for the towns sound exactly the same! 🙂 Sat nav has helped me out a few times on call.
I am loving this phone now – I can browse the internet really easily in landscape mode – its faster than my dial up at any rate… must be awesome to get 3g/HSDPA
Its a bloody good MP3 player and has a 2megapixel camera on it too.
Bargain! 🙂
I have two questions for you –
1) How do you get on and off the island? and
2) How many people live on the island?1) We have horseles carriages which fly through the air and incredible floating things that move across the sea…. actually on top of the sea I kid you not!
2) There are 1500 people on my island, but when Im on call i cover 3 islands with probably 7000 people.
