Well young Turks you are indeed right to turn to me for neon-related advice:

Firstly, what exactly is neon? Well I’ll let my good friend Bez from the Happy Monday’s answer that for me:

Well there you have it, it’s a gas, but it’s mostly known for it’s illuminating properties.

Oh dear me. I did forget about NGE, but I don’t think that’ll help young Turks with his costume. Unless he dresses up like this:

Fuck off Reeves. Anyway, at such short notice the easy and relatively safe way to illuminate yourself without getting a permanent sun tan would be to use light sticks. Here’s some you can buy from Blacks camping stores:

Sticks made of light? You’d better believe it.

Sometimes you can find them in stick form which are about 30 centimetres long that you can twist and bend. I used to take them with me when I went raving as a young man, but I brought those from a weird hippy establishment, so I’m not sure where you could get them.

So what is neon? Well it’s a gas, an animated TV show and if you take away the ‘n’ at the end it becomes the name of a character in a film that had two appalling sequels.
