Chaps, we will soon (3 days or so) have a Dedicated Ultra box from Multiplay.
Depending on the games, we can run 4 servers on that box. i.e.
1 x 32 BF2142
1 x 32 RO
1 x 24 TF2
1 x 24 CODetc etc
Just found the server side settings on CoD4 and there are tonnes of options to customise the game how you want. Pretty impressive.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t see a server side option to turn off crosshairs (unless it’s specifically in the HUD options) and if it’s not in there then that’s a game breaker for me on the MP side.
nice one OP.. I assume if COD4 takes off we can change player slots as and when? unless thats all it supports
Nice one SOIA.. you can turn Crosshairs off ingame so you must be able to Server side.. I’m looking forward to that game
Should isnt good enough.. its imperative it does.. anyhoos.. I asked if player slots could be changed to like 32 slots .. not game 🙂

Yes, we can control how many player slots we want per game

Not really, but once I have done the maths, I will see what we are short and ask some members for more support, if need be
Nice one, looks like COD4 will be a popular, game and TF2 is doing well just now at getting XDC back together playing the same game 🙂

2142 server – 10 XDC playing last week. We aint doing too badly… 😉
