Bah!
I just get a new rank and a new unlock, then the EA master server died, chucking thousands of people off the game, now no bugger can even login to get back on =/
What is worse is you can’t even have a LAN game without first connecting to the EA master server….
Whatb a fuckup!! Only hope I didn’t lose my rank 😳
EDIT:
Master server is back up now … but it’s only finding 2-3 servers online and with every update it’s finding a different 2-3 servers…..

You need a job m8. Seriously.
This isn’t a screw up. If you read the 2142 readme file (did anyone?) you will see that there is a line saying that the master servers will always be offline on Tuesday mornings for about 2 hours for maintenance.
For most people that aint a problem 😉

FFS get a job!! I left you still playing at 1am and ya still on the fookin servers ! Get a job, bird, go have a wank (delete as appropiate) ya fookin stat whore !! 😉
you wont be able to play on tuesday mornings. its because the EA server maintenance goes on for about 2 hours and is stateside. so between 10-12 am usually you wont be able to login to play 2142.
its written in the manual and there is nothing that can be done about it 🙁

Applied for 3 joobs a few weeks back but the closing date is 31st October, so be a while yet before I know if I got em 🙁
Aha! I did have a quick glance at the manual, but I was unimpressed there was no story at the front, as is traditional on many console games 😛
