help!!!!
my email address has been hi-jacked! Well actually the last part has been……..the acabbie.XX.uk bit!!
Its been happening for a few weeks now but in the last 24 hours i’ve had over 500 emails back with the usual mail delivery system/subsystem etc etc heading, telling me the email could not be delivered. Every email seems to have a different name in front of the @acabbie bit so i assume its some kind of bot creating these damn messages and firing them out to others but how the hell do i stop it ?
As a last resort i shall have to shut down the xxx@acabbie email address but really don’t want to do that as its my main address!!

Isn’t you account with Nildram? I used to have an account with them, but I gave up on them for a similar reason. Also because one of my twatish friends kept doing online competitions that required him to give out other peoples email addresses. The twat.
Anyway, I think nildram do some kind of premier service where they’ll check your email for spam, although the bloody spammers are now sending out gif’s rather than text emails, so they’re even slipping through Yahoo! accounts.
yup, been getting the gif/jpeg emails for ages now, that circumvents the word filtering you would normally use to push spam into the bin!
I’ve sorted a workaround for now………i’m diverting all the spam mail which starts with a random name ie: anything other than stef into a new account i’m creating in AOL, then i’m diverting anything with stef into my account with nildram so that hopefully should cut down on the shite i’m getting at the mo!
Guess some site i’m registered with had its records raped by a bot or summat and i’m now on a list somewhere!! 🙄
just ignore them mate , they`ll stop after a while . ive had the same thing on accounts i hadn`t even registered on outlook .
