I think Ticket IDs is a good idea to stop someone from making unfair profit from innocent people.
But then who am I to argue, I never go to it anyway – not my piece of cake 😉
As long as they refund tickets which are unused – I don’t see a problem.

I think providing photograph and personal details for the chance of getting a ticket is taking the piss to be honest. For one thing its a massive security risk in the event those details fell into the wrong hands. Maybe he’s hoping people just won’t bother and there will be less demand.
Never been to Glastonbury and probably never will go to Glastonbury. I went to Greenbelt one year and it was shit (mainly ‘cos my insane GF flipped out slightly more aggressively than usual).
However, I think some people take the piss with an event like that, trying to get in for nothing, or conversely paying a fortune to touts or selling tickets on Ebay etc.
But the idea of having to provide that level of personal details for the event is a bit OTT. When I used to go boarding, they used to stick your picture on your lift pass, so you couldn’t sell it on, but your details weren’t held on a database anywhere.

Glastonbury is one of my favourite weekend-break destinations. I go there several times a year but I’ve never been to the the festival. It seems every time I go there, something hilarious is happening. Once there was a Women conference and the place was crawling with Gaias and hags and about 1,000 chicks had themselves face-painted as fairies and wombs or whatever

once weve signed in blood and passports and payed up we will find that Madonna and take that (the return) are headlining 🙄Neon et all Who havent been. It’s the best festival around for diversity, size and general anarchic community. Other festivals are cool bust just cannot compare to the beast that is Glasto. In the almost 20 years Ive been going (not every year) I’ve seen a lot of Changes but deep down the spirit is always still there 😉

I know we jumped a fence one year and paid the next time we went. I found the fence jumpin malarky whilst on acid quite a buzz. didn’t seem the same when you’re straight 🙄 🙄 Those were the days ….. I’m talkin about twenty odd years ago kids
