If so, avoid the Aldwych and the surrounding areas as we (London cabbies) are having a demonstration which will cause a shitload of congestion.

that used to be the lorry drivers, now i guess they’ve given up on that one!
Maybe Joe Public needs to get fired up enough to take it upon themselves to start taking action and not just depend on other bodies to do the fighting for them!
Sadly we have way too much apathy in this Country which is why we get treated the way we do in certain circumstances.
well the demo went ok but was marred by some over zealous policing with officers issuing tickets to cabbies for not wearing seatbelts; not being with thier vehicles when on a rank and for tooting their horn. One guy got pulled to the floor and arrested getting his wrist broken in the process.
