    Not with NTL/Virgin Media are you by any chance? I know when I had a problem with them it was over a week before they got an engineer out 👿

    and i have just discovered that my crappy netgear router is the reason I have never seen faster than 10mbs – directly connected to the modem it hits 20 no probs

    oh well i guess the other 5 PCs in the house will have to do without a connection from now on 🙂

    lol good point.

    I have Virgin Media which i got 3 weeks ago and its great! Got the 4MB broadband and it actually runs at 4MB in the evenings when i came home from work unlike my old 2MB ADSL which tended to be 200k – 300k on most weekday evenings!
