I just got home and opened my mail….hmmm, a card, surely not for me, it’s our Doris’s birthday tomorrow, but it IS.
I am absolutly chuffed to bits by all your words of support and wisdom, it honestly mean’t a lot to me and the missus.
SO, just a small update, Nicole’s is having her 3rd round of CHOP-R (chemo) a week on Thursday ( every 3 weeks), She’s handling it fine, it kinda knocks her for 6 when she comes off the garganutan amount of steriods they prescribe to her for 5 days after they adminsiter the chemo, but she bounces back just before she has to go through it again. It’s a bit strange the fact she looks forward to chemo days, as she say’s , she has no baby to look after, she gets her dinner cooked for her and she basically relaxes for the day reading shite magazines and watching TV. 🙄 The chemo “seems” to be working, her tumour is less than a 1/3 of what it initially was and after her 4th round of chemo she has another round of CT scans, and hopefully it’ll be gone by then.
But it is strange having a bald wife, as soon as it started falling out she took to it with a pair of clippers and gave herself a No1 all over, fair play to her, i’m pretty sure it was just an excuse to start wearing the 500 quid wig she bought ,which incidently looks a lot better on her than her own hair did, but i’m not telling her that & theres only so many times i can do the benny hill sidekick head slap before she starts going ballistic, pfft no sense of humour these cancer patients. 😆
Again, thanks for the words of support & hopefully i’ll see you down at the London bash to buy you all a drink.

You can thank Mad ‘Soft and Cuddly’ Max and iNSANE (the big lug) for coming up with the idea and arranging the card. Gawd bless ’em. They’re like those two guys in that film, who’re really tough and manly, but really they’re lovelly and caring. Brokeback Mountain it’s called.

Glad to hear that you and the missus are coping like a couple of troupers and that things sound like they’re going well.
