Anyone know of any good free software for kids (my son is 4 next month). I’ve just put together a PC for him from old bits & pieces – he’s very excited but getting a bit bored by MS-Paint, which is all you get in Win2k.

I’m not having much luck doing a quick Google – too many results, too little time. So thought I would see if anyone here has any recommendations.

I know my brother’s kids ( 3yr and 5yr ) love the cbeebies website, lots of interactive stuff and games, that is providing you’ve got internet access on there

Thanks guys. For the moment I don’t intend connecting the PC to the internet. When he wants to do CBeebies (and yes, excellent stuff there) he can do that on my PC or the missus’ laptop.

I’ll look at the Thomas and Bob progs.
