Well, this had the ingredients that could turn out to be something really terrible. A lot of big names thrown together, Josh Hartnett, a trailer that looked like the film would suck and was the main reason I didn’t want to see it.
So fortunately I did, great movie, great performances from all. Probably the only criticism is the ending where they explain in real detail how everything fits together and how all the twists and turns develop. Not quite necessary I felt.

    9/10

One of my fave films of the year this one. Any film with Lucy Lui is always going to good on the eyes 🙂

would have been a 7/10 for me, but the inclusion of Lucy Loo knocks it down to 4/10.

    She’s a skank.

*edit* I should add that this little rule gave all the Charlie’s Angel films an astonishing -3/10

That’s the lowest film score I’ve ever heard. I gave Charlie Angels a unbelieveable 0.5/10, but you’ve pushed the very boundaries of film reviewing to a whole new level.

And for that I commend you.

Lucky Number Slevin is now on my ‘must watch list’.

0.5/10 is hard to believe if you haven’t seen the films, but as someone who has (forced by Tess I might add) I can well believe it.

L-N-S is definitely worth watching though, well paced, funny and has a very aesthetically pleasing style.
