We discovered tonight we’re able to change to the 64 player version of some maps, so pending any upgrade in our server numbers, which maps would you like to see set to the 64 version? Some of them I think would be too big, like Kharg island for example, which would spread the action out too much, but it worked well tonight for Grand Baazar and should be good on others as well. Incidently I think Noshahar is already set to the 64 version.
I got home a little late last night after researching some possible venues for our teams christmas night out, but I noticed that the numbers on the server dropped from fifteen while I was getting my kebab, and none ten minutes later when I crashed through the door. The map was metro and it got me wondering about whether we should do anything about it when it comes up late at night? If one side is being dicked on, normally they start leaving and so should we step in ar that point and change map? I’m not sure whether this is what happened last night or not but it was slightly disappointing to see it empty at half eleven when I was looking for a quick game….though theresulting early night worked out much better for me. What do you think anyway?

that would be the best option imo….used to have it on 1942 whereeveryone could vote for a map change
or alternatively a message that pops up ‘too change the map please speak too admin’
server was playing up Matt, I was trying to join at that time and although the game was running (I was on TS talking to people in the game) I couldn’t join and the server didn’t show up on my favourites. It had also restarted itself earlier and then carried on the round from where we left off, but with four of us playing, it was very weird!
Have to say though, the opposing team got raped well and proper on Metro rush last night. I noticed a few in chat messages from the other side about balancing the team a little, but I suspect we lost a few because of it.
I was on the receiving end of that one I think, I went AFK for a few minutes at the first base and returned deefending the last base. Previously though Max and I had given Maniac a right good kicking, fastest two rounds of Metro!

It was on Sein crossing. AND! it was not just you and Max, I think Beer, or maybe Insane and a few other XDC V’s Me, Milo, and a team of total idiots.
nah, definitely Metro at the beginning of the evening, Johnny and I went mortar and couldn’t keep up with the action, as we got to the second stage bombs, the third ones were about to go off, it was hilarious!

Yep def Metro, quickest round i have ever had on that map lol
When I read one of Messy’s posts last night referring to a server crash I had a quick look on Rackage to check for any information re a possible new patch or change that may have been applied, but there hasn’t been anything for a while, which is slightly worrying. If I’m not about if this happens again, or it’s happening regularly, let me know and I’ll raise a ticket to support. I don’t think there’s any reason to do this just yet on the back of one night’s hiccup.
