Participantsince i have had this new pc….i am experiencing problems with the audio mix discs i create……when i put them in on the pc and try to rip them with windows media player…..or real player……they all stutter…..and take ages to rip……and they then stutter on playback
does anyone know if there are some drivers i need to update or anything ?? cos my old pc used to do it no problem ??
they are audio cdr’s i am having problems with……im using them because the normal data blanks cd’s i bought from play.com are not even being recognised by this pc…….and i am choosing to rip audio when i attempt it so thats not the problem……i really would have though this would be straightforward stuff for a brand spankin new rig to cope with !!
its causing me a big problem so any help or advice from you guys who understand this stuff would be appreciated !!

ParticipantWhat bit rate and frequency are you bouncing to? If your outputting from your sequencer at 24/96 windows media/real player will have to down-step to 16/44 for a standard audio CD. Your better to do that sequencer side as you can also dither down. I’m not by any means familiar with real audi or WMP, but have a look at your bounce settings, and let me know your output format and but rates.

ParticipantSorry, I thought you were burning a track TO CD. I re-read. Why can’t you bounce the file directly from the sequencer in either a .wav or .mp3 format?
