    the drains are as high as i have ever seen em here but have not burst their banks yet..

    aye, i had a bit of a nightmare today, 2 1/2 hrs to drive from meersbrooke to tinsley ( 8ish miles ) only to find the job i was supposed to be doing had no electricity.

    Had a trip back thru attercliffe and neepsend to see the devestation, my old firm was 1.5mtr under water last night and theres cars abandoned all of the place, walls knocked down.. A lad was swept away in the local park yesterday and an old bloke was swept away to his death in the wicker when he got out of his car.

    Lucky we live on high ground, but it was still a fucker to go out and have a smoke.

    Yeah, well I had to put my coat on the radiator when I got home last night to get it dry.
