Against my better judgement (which to be honest, isn’t that good) I’m really starting to enjoy BF2142. Brought it Saturday and loaded it up without any problems and I think I’ve got about 6-8 hours under my belt.
I haven’t found the learning curve to be that steep and the new system of upgrades and ranks etc is pretty good, but I’m more impressed with the maps, particularly the infantry ones.
I personally find the infantry combat very hectic and exciting, especially as they’ve got the pitch of the ingame voices just right so that when someone’s screaming for medic when you’re underfire from a HMG it seems llike movie. I prefer Conquest to the Titan mode though, as that becomes a bit too much like Star Wars when you’re fighting in those corridors.
Also, do they have an ‘Infantry only’ option like of BF2? That’d be pretty cool.
aye it can be done, we had it on the rotation for a while but to be honest, I like the Titan map inclusions, it makes a nice change.

Are you sure? 😕 We had conquest only on but im not sure if theres an infantry only option.
