Got me one last week after waiting for a nice phone to come along I thought was worthy of me getting, have to say I’m v impressed.. It’s an S60 series but the touch screen is very responsive, you can even write your txt messages using the stylus at the back, features are your normal nokia ones with added tweeks, I was contemplating the devils phone, but lack of certain features and crap sound put me off (oh and size), the sound on this phone is better than my old N95 and that was superb, it has its own equaliser for added editabilty, only downside is nokia music, but it has drag and drop so your not limited to having to use it, battery lasts a fair bit too

I give it a F**k you apple / 10 (although admitidly I do like the way iphone/itouch scrolls its music, its v nice)

Speaking of music, anyone know of a nice simple peice of software that lets you easily edit albums, like track names, cover art etc etc.. nothing too brain numbing mind 🙂

Sounds like some n00b didnt charge it properly, my N95 lasts at least 2/3 days with daily music play, it is a superb phone, bit dated now but superb none the less

I contemplated waiting for the N97, but that looks just like the N95 only with a slide out keyboard, and as I only really listen to music, the 5800 does the trick (battery life when charged correctly is fantastic

I did the handwriting txt training last neet, have to say its superb, I can write my txt’s much better

oh and cheers spunker, will look for it on near Newzbin-upon-tyne instead though 🙂

Proper charging?!?!?!? What does that mean? I just want a phone to charge and go…. and not worry about programmes not closing proeperly, and using more juice… madness!!

As fate would have it, my 3 year old W550i died last night! Now using a very shitty old Nokia…

Hoping to find a phone which i can use with my nc10 to access the net over bluetoot… any one know of a phone which would do that?

I always charge mine for at least 16 hours, even before switching on, I believe newer batteries dont require as much but better safe than sorry.. however, this battery, I charged till the battery indicator was full (as per instructions, dont think I’ve seen the bar move since!) brill!

errm.. 5800 can act as a modem I believe via B’Tuth
