ParticipantTurks, seahorses are not assexual, in order for them to be assexual they would have no reproductive organs and reproduce by splitting in half (miosis). As can be seen here, they certainly do have reproductive organs. They are also not hermaphroditic, they have “sex” by the female inserting her oviduct into the males brooding pouch. more details here

Thank you for clearing that up for me… Nothing worse than someone going round spouting (not sprouting!) bollocks, and claiming it’s true… getting my Sea Horses and Liverworts mixed up… easy mistake 🙂
