well for good or ill – I have upgraded to version 3 of PHPBB!!!
there was probably some over lap from when I took the database snap shot.. installed a local copy of the board and database.. performed the required conversion and reuploaded the new database… so there will probably be a few missing posts… sorry
there are bound to be problems!!!
post them here and i will address them asap
ps go easy on the upload facility till i can figure out what sort of effect it is going to have on the system! when oldphart gets me the details of the new server this should not be a problem!

due to ungratefully peasants moaning ( 😉 ) i have added a replica of the old skin and set it as default – you can change to the other skin in your control panel
I wasnt monaing.. errm.. about the skin, I liked it.. I was uncomfortable with the avatar being on the right!
