When I used to live in a flat I bought an alarm – it is really cheap when all you have to do is secure one door and don’t have to worry about windows (assuming you are not on the ground floor.)
Been insured for 4 years, looking at new policies and we get burgled! Also, flatmate has been unemployed so home all day for the last 5 months – he got a job on Monday!!
HOWEVER! My PC, new screen, Grandfather’s signet ring, fathers watch, flat credit card were all untouched – so it could have been MUCH worse!
Also the TV had no remote, so that will lower the value!
Hay ho… time to get a bigger better TV!
