So I was planning on buying via Origin when I get home this evening. Does this mean I can play it when?
Cheers y’all.there is a way to play single player, not tried multiplayer yet, but definitely will be able to play on 28th. It is an 11gb d/l so probably tomorrow
I thought buying it via Origin let you play a few days early? Not the case?

hardly a hack, it’s been semi santioned by EA/DICE on the BF3 forums……well suffice to say, they said there will be no comebacks.
At the end of the day it wasn’t EA/DICE who set the release dates rather the antiquated way the release dates work in various regions. EA/DICE could easily have region locked it, but they didn’t.
Nah not a hack (of sorts), Just think its an unfair advantage for those who have to wait till Fridays official european release thats all
It would be sanctioned as you have to buy it through them on Origin to be able to play it via the korean backstreets or whatever it is

I’m in desperate need of it……I just went to put bf2 on the pc just to get some fps action on a pc for the first time in 6 years and there ain’t even enough room……so I looked to get rid of some stuff,and I have fuck all on there,windows,iTunes,and some random other bits and my pc is completely fuckin full !!!
Oh and it then proceeded to crash out by turning itself off !!!
Sad state of affairs when iTunes fills your hard drive…….the only cloud action this pc is seeing is the puff of smoke it’s gonna see when I chuck it in the skip !!!
So in answer mikey…….I don’t really know the Gubbins of why he approves……but he has given It the thumbs up so I’m good to go I reckon

Just read judgehs advice……ssd only improves the loading times and start up time of windows 7 so no real gain in his humble opinion

Hmmm – that is not my experience. Windows is the environment where everything happens – so having it on hand at all times is a huge boon. Large games that use your pagefile will certainly see a benefit… but even if you have lots of RAM and so don’t use it… you will still see a benefit in loading times.
I used to regularly get into games faster when i used a velociraptor,,, and now I am even faster if I have the prog on my SSD.
Putting Premnier/ photoshop and after effects on my SSD is a no brainer – massively increased productivity.
Just did a very quick google search about the subject….
No idea what these guys agenda / influences are – but their figures look legit to me.
