It’s shite. If the contract is up soon, change the fucking thing. I hear Rackage are quite good (the Rats use them).
Tonight it wouldn’t let me connect, so infuriating, I could connect to any other server I liked, even other multiplay serve, but not ours. What a pile of steaming bollockshite.
Yeah I couldn’t connect to our server last night either. It kept hanging on the loading screen when trying to connect to the server.
I could connect to other servers okay however. I’ll try again now that there’s less traffic and see how it goes.
I know the BF server is shite (Its been wank since BFV!).. cant say the RO server is bad at all.. never had an issue with it.. maybe its the game!

Go to http://www.evenbalance.com
On the front page click on the Battlefield 2142 link. Then click on the download link, then the pbsetup link. Download pbsetup.exe from that page, run it on your pc following the instructions on the evenbalance site.
Try joining the server. If it still kicks you try joining another server hten go to the console and enter the command
pb_security 0
Disconnect then try joining our server again.

On a serious note, the server is alright for me fella, just occasional PB issues but follow what Wipers said and you should be ok. 😀
But yeah, also works fine for me mate – no problems, just an occasional server caused crash – but thats once in a blue moon, the memory errors are all part and parcel

Did the PB setup whilst I was on TS last night, will try the PB security thing later. But why could I play on other servers but not our one? Even got onto other multiplay servers, are we not paying them enough? Has Pharty shagged one of the multiplay techies wives?
Seems our server (for some unknown reason) doesnt update its version of punkbuster as quickly as others. When you go to another server PB updates on your PC with this newest version. You then go back to ours and PB on your PC thinks – this is bad – i am a newer version than this crap server – xdc are haxors – and disconnects you.
Running that console command tells PB to ignore the fact that the server-side version is older than the client and should stop the disconnects.
Well the only server I had played on before was the XDC server the night before, so I don’t see how that could happen. Oh well, never mind, the ame is irritatingly crap, I only play it to ahve a bit of fun with you guys, seems that will have to wait until there is a game out which actually works.
