I wouldnt mind playing some more of this… feeling ive missed out a bit so far… gotta branch out from all this BF2 lark (Although COD2 is the daddy!)

I don’t play it anymore. I hate Steam so much I uninstalled it. Sick to death of having to f*** about with it all the time and have it slow my pc down (my pc is getting old fast these days). But there’s a buddy list so if the people who do still play it give out their names you can find ’em when they’re playing.
RO definatly isn’t BF2 in any way, theres no running strafing, theres no crosshairs (iron sights only), it’s more a realism FPS but looks and plays great.
You can get it thru steam, and i don’t think there are any patches out yet.
realistic gameplay, one shot one kill, very tactical on most servers, requires teamwork or you get owned, life is precious, lots of blood, been one patch another in a couple of weeks, infantry and combined arms rock, already6-10 custom maps, ongoing FREE updates maps etc well into 2007,sniper scopes are amazing, old engine, some issues on some comps, devs active in forums,i play it at 1440×900 with 16aa 4af looks sweet, not a lot of players, steep learning curve you gotta stick with it.

paches auto through steam….
best thing= custom maps take at most a couple of mins to dl from game servers…
next best thing= limb loss and blood
next best thing=tracer rounds lighting up the skys, had one rickocet off a lamp post and hit me in the foot:)
next next best best thing=gameplay, one team has to defend, other attack, cp’s generally have to be taken in order, most are un recapable.

if you have Zonealarm, uninstall it…work arounds for Norton
plenty of screens etc at my first link…….this is far and away the best infantry combat since ofp imho….
