.. anyone tried these yet? Free PC looks ok + free upgrade to 24mb, think you sign up for 3 years then you get another PC if you carry on…..

    Thoughts…..?

Fair enough I guess the trouble is , is if they do too well they will go bust unless they have some serious backing, If they are handing out a free £500 pound p.c even with the basic package at £20 a month it means they will have to wait for at least 2 years per customer before any profit is made.

Great if it works but I personally think this one will be consigned to the big computer bin in the sky very soon

Need a new PC for my daughter and I’m really pissed off with Pipex so this looks really interesting. Couldn’t find anything on adslguide about the though.

    EDIT: found it

…am stuck with NTL at the min, have got a a BT line to my house but not connected. To be fair NTL have (recently) been quite good but i fucked off their telly and phone coz they were pissin’ me off!

Do you lot think its worth me re-connecting to BT to give me options as far as broadband is concerned? (NTL 4mb £24.99 a month)

not really – because then you have to pay BT Line rental + £24.99 a month for ADSL hehe, cheaper (and better ping wise) to stick to NTL 🙂
