I have no doubt about the spirit, but Jebus, they break so many of the rules that I know, FFS, it peeves me intensely. Come on, has no one learn’t anything?

I think the troops look like their hands are tied by having to look after such a vast area with so few troops. As a result they are defending static positions, handing the initaitive to the Tallietubbies. They just do not have the numbers to do enough aggressive patrolling to keep the Tallies on the back foot.

Looks like a typical political cock up, give the blokes a mission but not the resources to achieve it. Also, by roting ynits every 6 months the new lot have to re-learn everything the returning unit has learn’t. I reckon it would be best to withdraw troops from all other deployments and send the entire army to Afganistan.
