Managed to work out how to cook, make clothing and build a basic shelter with a sleeping back so I can re spawn also found a nice little area high in resources (just need to work out where I am in the rust world)

I think you guys might have been raided. I logged on just now to see what the server was like this late and there was a guy on there called cookiemonster boasting that he’d raided the biggest clan on the server, looting a shit load of guns etc. He described a base that was a 6×6 tower like an hour glass which is now a very broken hour glass, and it was between two radtowns or something. Sounded like Jonny’s but no doubt you guys have a few bases around. He also said he was watching you all for about 4 hours today stalking and checking where you go and where you go back to, and it sounds like he’s holding a grudge for being told “no hard feelings” when he was shot the other day. He called the clan 64sh though, so it could be a base belonging to one of the other guys from ts rather than jonny’s though. My wee shack is still in one piece for now.
