Is there a server setting to turn the sentry guns to ‘crap’? I was on a server last night and I swear that my guns never fired once, even whne there was a clear line of sight to enemies less than 50 yards away. They also didn’t make the target aquistion ‘bleep’ that normally occurs prior to firing.
Some servers (like ours) seem to be fine, but others seem to have the gun sensitivity turned way down.
Also, I just saw that Wipers is ranked 239 in the world for kills with the SD-8 Accipiter. Not bad…

Neon – I’m sure there isn’t a setting. I didnt see anything like that in the server config.

Yeah noticed that about the defib, Wipers nice one you defib whoring tart :).
I think a loaded spud-gun would do more damage than my Argos brought 3rd drone.
It was a while before I realised the sentry-guns have only a narrow arc of cover. I was always putting them down facing in random (ie wrong) directions.
It’s nice how the bullets from them don’t hurt your own team. How kind of EA!

oh they do hurt your own team i believe, if you run in front of them as there shooting an enemy, eventually, they do hurt you – not that iv done that or anything…..ok i was curious 🙁 , i like how they have wall hacks built in.
I think sentry-guns are cool. 8)
I,ve been using them now for a couple of weeks, and i,ve found their good for both defending and for putting beside you when your attacking at the frontline. 🙂
