What about Cysis? that looks to be a good game and I liked the multiplayer a fair bit, but not developed enough, hopefully with theirc second project they have developed that side alot more

Just tried ET:QW and I must say I’m gutted.. I thought that game was gonna be the bee’s knees but it’s just a polished ET clone >.< Feels like a f’ing war episode of Blue Peter compared to the BF games..
Yep thats what I found and was a bit dissappointed to be honest. I see COD 4 now has a relase date in november, so Crysis and COD 4 will be out in the same month, the cunning buggers, going to be a lot of competition to play both i think
I downloaded and played a few rounds of that QW: ET and I was quite impressed. Worked like a dream on my system, even at 1600×1050. It was basically a bit of a free for all on ther server, but I can see how with proper team play it’d be pretty good.
That being said, I’m not a fan of how they manage the ‘choke points’ in the game as it makes it a bit too arcade like. Also, when playing as the Strogg, your comanders voice is a bit disconcerting and I kept expecting him to clear his throat with a stern cough.
Also snipers seem to be armed with some kind of super powerful cannon that doesn’t seem to require much skill, and the fact that you can only place defence guns in certain locations means that you’ll soon learn where to look for them.
Pretty good for a demo. Shame about the setting.
