This is a very nice South Koreon film. Its subtitled but not to the extent that your distracted from the film itself.
PLOT : Nasty beastoid emerges from the Han river and causes havoc on local populas of central Korea. Caught up in the middle is a slightly dissfunctional family that have to come together to save the youngest member of thier family that has been taken by said nasty beastoid.
The special effects are pretty neat and the monster is nice and orgional. Thou I will say that the Monster is thrown into it for, what it seemed to me, just to make the story a damm sight more interesting. The whole film it littered with dark black humour that has a go at the Korean goverment, American involvment in anything they want down to peoples fears and how they are exploited by the news.
It all move along at a fast pace and injects some really nice set pieces, and as stated the monster is actualy really good.
Not for everyone but I really enjoyed it.
