Operation Peacekeeper is the best ‘modern-day’ mod for BF2. But I’m with airmessy, FH2 is gonna blow you snoks-off, there is a larger team working on FH2 than was on FH1 plus another fraction called war in finland are supplying the FH2 mod with work as well, we could get hold of FH2 near Sept – which really isn’t that far away.
September – damb no offence but i’m hoping there will be another game to play before then!!!
Is it me or are the mods taking just a bit to long to produce for bf2?

Its because of the wank code they have to work with. The bf2 code is farking shambolic. Its easy to tell that because of:
a) memory leak
b) Crappy performance *by product of the memory leak*
c) when they fix a bug it creates more different bugs. *this is the biggest give away for wank code*List goes on and on and on.
I am personally glad that FH2 is taking so long. They have rewritten everything do that means less wanky bugs and no memory leak..
Alllllso it means that when they bring out future patches they will not make more bugs in the process of adjusting others 🙂
ah must admit i didn’t think about the fact that everytime ea ‘fix’ a problem in a patch the fh2 lot need to re-write there side of things. Mind you that does mean they are relying on ea to finish bf2 before september 😆 😆 😆

No m8 you misunderstand.
FH guys are building the game from scratch again. They have only kept the game engine, scraped everything else and are rewriting everything from the ground up.
