    i finally got a pole a few weeks ago and have been fishing my local canal . went today , actually fished some sort of method and caught a few including a couple of pound and a half bream and this little bastard on maggot .

    caught on a 4lb mainline 2lb breaking strain 18 hook .

    off to calverhambury tomorrow for some carp . 😀

    Dont worry mate… that fish was a fucking Nazi… it had just killed all the freshwater shrip in the pond… in a bubble bath.

    Is that near Waltham Abbey? If it is then fish the top lake for big carp. Or the other one for lots o little carp
