Has any1 ever tried to use a trackball for gaming?

Before broadband, I used to host small LAN parties at my flat and cobble together old PC’s for some Half Life CS action. I used a spare trackball for gaming back then and it was alright. However, that was just for a bit of fun, and the people I was playing against didn’t normally place FPS’s, so I had an advantage.
I think it would put you at a disadvantage playing 2142 online with one though.

Possibly, but Max’s gaming prowess is greatly enhanced by his lucky bra and garter. Unless the Doc fancies going tranny on us everytime he’s online I think he should get a mouse.

I personally think that trackballs are a bit wank. Unless you’re playin missile command, centipede or track n field.
Those were the days….. Atari 2600 FTW ๐ ๐Because they are cheap. Bouncing it off the wall is not such a problem when you are only paying รฦรโรยขรขโยฌร ยกรฦรขโฌลกรโรยฃ2.99 for one ๐
