Did a bit of 4x4ing with zig on our trip to S. Africa and Zig took this video of me driving in Groenkloof nature reserve in Pretoria, there’s a little jump in the middle because it was done with a digital camera which could only deal with 15 seconds of footage at the time.
For those of you from the Arse End of Africa who might know about this, we went up the Sani pass, wasn’t hard in the Land Rover, although due to a mishap by our father drifting around a corner into the only rock large enough to puncture our tyre in that mile of dirt road the day before, we went up without a spare tyre. with the transmission oil boiling on the way up. and the brake fluid boiling on the way down. Still lovely area the drakensberg. Oh and excuse the maniacal grin at the end. I had rather gunned it up the slope and almost lost it coming out (but didn’t) and it was a bit of an adrenaline rush!

Wolf.. I did that once.. in England mind.. at brands hatch.. unfortunatly I couldnt have a go as I left me DL at home, but went in with professional.. the fooker was at a 90 degree angle at one point.. me facing the floor.. kinda scarey but fun 😀

Lol at your gurning face 🙂 I love 4 wheel driving – did a bit on Fraser Island in Oz – basically just a huge sand island that you can piss about in whilst trying not to get bogged down.
On a bit of a tangent – Ive been driving a Subaru legacy around for the last year and a bit… I dont think I could go back to 2 wheel drive ever again after all the AWD goodness…. it rocks when you wanna go round hairpin bends at 100 kph in the wet.
