If I was to recommend a book for the slightly mathematically minded it would be: White Light by Rudy Rucker.
It’s a bizarre surrealistic novel about a bored maths lecturer at a drab university in the US who experiments with out-of-body travel. Sounding odd enough yet? Well, he then travels to a place where the souls of the dead reside and infinities are tangible things where he struggles with Cantor’s continuum theorem. Great cameo by Jesus, and plenty of subvert encouragement of drug use. What’s not to like?
I give it C/10 (where C is the number of points in a continuum).
