KeymasterThis is a little hard to describe but is it happening to anyone else, and if not what’s going on with my computer?
I’ll take the general forum for example….
I open the site and from the forum index I’m told that the last post made in it was on Thu Jun 07, 2007 10:49 am by =XDC= Erratic-Space. I click on the forum and top of the list is that olypmic’s logo thread, on 3 pages, max’s post about that gran with 4 replies, and Ryzo’s Suziki Maurader thread with 3 replies…..also I have read each of these threads yet they still show as unread…..
If I then close down explorer and reload site, I see the more recent posts, atm only ryzo’s thread out of those 3 is still up there but now with 2 pages of replies and the other threads have a couple more replies as well. I close down explorer again, reload, I’m back to the way it was. This is happening in every forum.
Any ideas?
(oh and obviously I may not be able to see some of the replies)

ParticipantDid you read these posts on another machine or your own? And have you tried refreshing the page as opposed to closing it down and reloading it up – sounds odd to me :S is this a new issue to your or has it occured for some time – dosnt sound more like your computer, probably more down to your browser – do you use Internet Explorer?

KeymasterNo posts all read on this machine, refreshing doesn’t work, and yea is very odd 🙁 I’m using IE mostly as I’ve had no problem up until now with it. Firefox seems to show all the posts, but I can’t get logged using it :S
(took 2 browsers and several reloads to see even this one reply)
edit: also only seems to be on this site – other forums working fine

ParticipantThat really is odd! What version of IE are you using? I can only think that perhaps this PHP forum has gone through an update of some sort that would effect older browsers, but i doubt that. Im trying to think what else would effect how the forums display on your browser, and if it works with other forums – and not this one, makes it seem even weirder, perhaps if some one else does post with the same issue, it may narrow it down a bit more

KeymasterUnless some update has come out in the last few days then it’s the most recent…..infact auto update is on so it must be the most recent version :S
I cleared the cache and firefox seems to work now at least 🙂

ParticipantHave you updated firefox, it tends to have improved since the last coupole of updates for me, never use IE now, it’s just second rate.

ParticipantMine used to do that, using firefox, but getting a new pc is a bit exstreme way of fixing it.
