Started gaming on the BBC as a young wipper snapper… multiplayer gaming started with RTCW and MOH:AA, followed by BF1942 which is when I came accross http://www.battlefield1942.co.uk (boohisss!) and joined XDC from there (recruitment thread is still there some where!), then followed the natural progression – Vietnam – BF2 playing a bit of COD2 on the side.

Started out online about 7 years ago now on Kingpin… man, what a violent game that was! Was in a clan called THO, nicknamed Manslaughter. Was pretty good. Then went away to Uni, and quit playing. Only just got online again. Wanted to meet some like-minded BF2 folks after finding out how awesome the game is. Found this Motley Crew! 😉

Started on a C64, progressed to PC’s via a mindblowingly fast 286 with EGA screen(IT was at the time, only for the 386 to come out with VGA and make mine look like a Cash register )
Started LAN gaming with Quake, Diablo and Command and Conquer.

Started to play on amstrad 464 and 6128 but really got into video games with my commodore amiga 500 (what a comp it was) then had a break for almost 10 years and came back to the computer world in 2000 with the internet and games… then started with games like command and conquer or civilisation, moved to doom and then battlefield…. you guess what happened next. I really discovered the XDC server with BFV where I get on well with a few ppl, then they offered me to join after long discussions about getting a frog in the clan… cheers for that 😀 … a bit away from the server nowadays because of, dunno why really but if my bot is not here , my heart is still here!

anything, but you british really taught me sthg about vegetarian food which was completly impossible to think about before I went to britain. we french are far too much narrow minded about food, ‘you dont have much to show us about that’ would say a lot of ppl but i think we shd really think about opening our eyes to the others about that as you can…

played various games over the years first game I remember though was Jet Set Willy on a ZX81 (I think) the progressed to a Commodore 64 then an Artari Amiga 1200 and then finally onto my first proper PC which was a Compaq Presario DX4/100. Met Hippy and Minti through work as we all work for the same company and Hippy Intoduced me to BF1942 and the rest is history.

First multiplayer game was FlightSim on a Silicon Graphics network. First online MP games was Fighter Squadron: Screaming Demons Over Europe. Then moved onto BF1942 etc.

A bit about yourself: IT Support Engineer working in London. Just brought a place with my GF Nathalie and will be getting married to her soon. When I’m not online, I like to play football, go to the gym, watch films that contain explosions and/or a car chase, play Role Playing Games that involve dice and bits of paper, go snowboarding or just get drunk.
A bit about your gaming history: Had a Vic 20, but then got a Commodore 64 (which rocked!) and played a lot of Elite. Got a PC with a analogue modem in 1996 and played single player stuff (like Operation: Flashpoint) up until I got my broadband connection in December 2005. Listened to Insane and got Battlefield 2 and been playing it ever since. Insane then told me to drop by XDC and post some crap and here I am.

Battlefield 2 Bad ass rating: Well I’m not sure what my arse has to do with BF2, but it’s certainly not bad. I’d rate it as ‘perky, but a bit hairy’.
