No – run round with a knife when they attack your titan and you can stab most of em in the back, run back up to the spawn, pod back to the rear of the ship, and stab people again; that’s not padding, just whoring – there is a difference -_- fact is when there are 2 or 3 enemy there and you sjhoot them in the back, you use a whole clip to kill 1 of them and when you reload the others rape you, knive them = instant death and you can probably get them all before they know what’s happened. Even better you dont have any missed bullets hitting the others when you knive, so they aint alerted to your presence….

When I was a young un I remember quite clearly winning an egg and spoon race. Did I get a prize? Did I get to go see the good looking teenage girl in her fancy dress that, even at 8 years old, gave me a funny, unexplainable tingly feeling in my willy? Did she congratulate me and give me a medal and a bag of sweets? Well, actually yes all that did happen but that’s not the point. See, some 25 years down the road now I’m utterly at a loss to understand why no-one will fawn over the fact that I once won a completely meaningless event that 99.99% of the population didn’t even know happened, and that the other 0.01% thought was a complete and utter waste of time anyway.
I don’t know why that suddenly occurred to me, I think I must sometimes wonder if anyone else has ever had a similar experience?

I swivved a cheerleader once, but she did not fancy me because of my prowess on the cricket field, nor for my scores in the national Bisley, nor for my valient attempts at squashing the opposite teams hooker in the grudge match against King Edwards School, nope.
I got to mount her because I made her pissed at a school ball and took her home in Pater’s Mercedes. While I was in the saddle her sister tapped on the window, but I ignored her until I offloaded a few seconds later. Her sis told everyone at the ladies finnishing colledge what happened and the poor thing never lived it down.
I tupped her sister a couple of years later when I was in the Army. Did she fancy me for my manly physique?, no. for my medal? Nope. Most likely it was because I made her pissed and I was driving one of Daddy’s nice cars again.

I’ve mentioned my views on the stats in bf2142 and in one post Legit just illustrated my point better than i ever could have.

The fact is at the moment I got £3k on my credit card and no job, I’m still paying for not only 1 but 2 motorbikes that were stolen, my back is still fucked after being sandwiched between 2 cars last year and I have a health problem which may turn out to be serious as the doctor is having no luck treating me with several different techniques it will have to be stepped up and I’ll have to go to hospital.
Forgive me for spending 2 weeks of having some fun to prevent me slipping into a pit of depression, but this was my entertainment and allowed me to temporarily forget my rl problems.
I haven’t played the game since yesterday morning and I haven’t played it at all yet today, so I’ve slipped down the ranks a lot already and you know what? I don’t give a fuck! I got the unlocks, which is what I wanted and I’ve passed on the knowledge I’ve gained on my journey… the leaderboard can be patched out for all I care as it only encourages stat padding and cheating and not the intended competitive spirit, but it’s still nice to have been up there of course -_-
We all know the leaderboard doesn’t necessarily reflect skill but there is still something subconsciously appealing of being up there… even more so to be above stat padders and cheaters…

Each to their own, I can see why people get annoyed about stats, when people play like complete twonks, using exploits, uncap/spawn raping etc. But if someone is simply trying to get as higher score as possible and as high up the leaderboards as they can, whilst not playing like the above, I don’t see what the problem is. Whether there are stats or not some people will play in a lone wolf mode and very often those aiming for a high score are great contributors to the team effort so I think the argument that it ruins teamplay holds little water. Just my 2 cents 😛
