I have heard people moaning of lag on the Rats TF2 server and on our TF2 server, but I have never ever had an issue. I always get sub 20ms ping to both servers lol, yesterday with 3 of us on the rats server, it reckoned my ping was 6ms! probably incorrect but interesting.
The TF2 server is the main one getting used a fair bit. Thats definately got more people on it than the cod4 ones have had from what I have seen

I Think it is on 2 secs or something like that, I get bored waiting 15 secs waiting to spawn!

yeah I had some good games on TF2 last night, didnt see any of the usual suspects though and the rats played on their own one, should have asked to join lol. admin functionality seems to be working ok now for me again. very wierd.
I still prefer TF2 over COD4 really, its more fun to play, i quite liked not having nades spammed at u loads
I went looking at LCD tvs with my dad recently and went with one of the panasonic Vera tv’s as they are well put together and from the other panasonic stuff he has bought, thought it should be good.
it was a 32″ one he got which does 1366×768 I think and has built in digi tuner, 2x HDMI inputs, 1xPC input, 2xSCART and then your usual coax for video and sound and outputs to send the sound to an amp.
I am hearing that Plasma tvs offer better picture quality though, but you have to get them recalibrated after a year and then every 5 years or something to maintain optimum picture quality.
Also note that these tv’s really show themselfs when playing DVD’s or a high res input source, std analogue tv looks crap on these, worse than crt tv. digi tuner tv is a bit better but you can still tell. But good quality DVD’s look fantastic on it.
The one he got says it is HD ready and the HDMI sockects support the HDCP protocol copy protection thingy. but apparently proper hd is 720p or 1080p? which I believe is 13xx x 720 and 16xx x 1080?

hehe we did alright last night. ran a few of the custom maps and the new XMAS map and it went down very well! lol
good fun it was.
alzir, wolf, spunker and beer all made an appearance thoughout the evening and the CRAZY ppl and some rats came on later in the evening 🙂
The server is now fixed.
I managed to get it all back to working order this morning with the help of MPUK, so the admin mod should be fully functional again now 🙂
Well I always run my own skin on the forums which I liked fine! the theme i ran is not available and the others dont look to be up to much, so this default one will do nicely!
who put thay gay kitty theme on which was all pink and purple the other day? horrible thing and could not get rid of it. log on today and its all back to normal.!

btw insane, the guy who looked at the FH2 server ticket wants a direct link or for us to upload the server files lol, apparently because its a linux box and he doesnt have IE or some wierd shit lol
